Bissell’s Garage – Warwick

Bissell’s Garage at 1 Castle Street, Warwick earliest indication is that they were there around 1909 as the chauffeur George Vissey was fined £3.18.0, for speeding at 30mph along the Gaydon Road and for failing to produce his licence.

1910 they have a Coventry two-seater 10/12 Siddeley for sale.

Later the company became Armstrong Siddeley, and in 1906 the company was previously called Deasly.

Probably not the same company but there was also a Bissell and Sons Garage, in Warwick Street, Leamington in the 1930s.

At some point, Castle Lane Garage was sold to Colliers Service Garage and by 1923 they had also moved to new premises at Cape Road.
