1 Warwick Street/Upper Grove Street (Westrock House) was a house with a large garden, garage for two cars, which was auctioned off in November 1950.

It was then owned by Granville Gulliman a well known Leamington Photographic Material Manufacturer that then went into receivership in March 1963 through tax debts.

Presume that the premisses (Westrock House) were then purchased by C. H. Soans at the auction.

They had the Garage in Dormer Place, but needed much needed additional space for car storage and workshop facilities.

In November 1965 the fire brigade from across the road attended a fire there which had started in the roof timbers of a single-story building storing cars that were saved from damage and had been caused by heat from a flue pipe.

In January 1967 they are now selling second-hand cars from the premisses with over 100 cars in stock.

It was eventually sold to property developers and builders Blackburns on Warwick Road, Coventry.

By November 1972 it has become Warwick Street Service Station they have now taken over the premises and are advertising second-hand cars.

1977 Dell Motors are now on the premises, as the Citroen Dealer for the Midlands.
