Collins and Aikman purchased Kigass Engineering Ltd on 27 February 1998.

They manufactured injection moulded plastic parts for the Automotive Industry.

13 January 2000 Collins and Aikman Ltd, was incorporated into Collins and Aikman Automotive Interior Systems Ltd.

An announcement was made in May 2001 that the company would be closing its Warwick premisses.

Administrators for the company were appointed on 18 July 2005.
The company of Collins and Aikman Automotive Limited was dissolved on the 5.3.2010
