Davidson’s Garage – Leamington

Davidson’s Garage in Chandos Street Leamington.

Looks like the owner at that time was Miss D. C. Davidson who sadly died in the Warnford Hospital in June 1940 after a short illness.

Mr A C Goss and Mr J Leedle were employees at the time.

The earliest advert was on Friday 17 April 1925

Advert found was in the Courier Newspaper on Friday 17 February 1928 for the sale of a 1926 Citroen Cloverleaf.

And one on 28 July 1933 with a reply to a complaint about the suppling of two cars for the Hospital procession and the previous year’s carnival?

The last one I can find is on Friday 28 December 1945, but they were still in business for certain in 1947.

Reply to Complaint of 1932 carnival charges, July 28 1933
