Dennis Cooper Cars – Leamington

First came to the Leamington around Dec 1971, whilst still having the Coventry Road Garage in Brinklow, Coventry.

Their first premises were at 125-129 Rugby Road, Leamington with Dennis Cooper and Adrian Cooper as directors and Edith Cooper as a director and secretary.
The premises are in the same place where Lockwoods Ski shop is today.

In December 1974 Dennis Cooper Cars move from the Rugby Road to the Myton road taking over the old Orr Tookey car showroom.
The last advert for Dennis Cooper Cars was on 28 December 1979.
I am not sure what happened at present between Jan 1980 and April 2004.
April 2004 Dennis Cooper Cars was purchased by Arbury (Arbury Service Station of Bulkington, Coventry) which came from the Cathedral Motor Company and that which was formed by members of Evans Halshaw.

The company becomes dormant in 2015
On 17.1.2017 Dennis Cooper Cars (Leamington) Ltd is taken off the register and officially dissolved.
