J. T. Glover – Warwick & Leamington
I found this in the archives, not strictly “Motoring History” but the premisses mentioned may have become garages later and I don’t want to lose the information.
James Thomas Glover of East Gate, Warwick and 35 Lansdowne Place (which is now Upper Parade), Leamington.
Born in Sherbourne near Barford, in about 1820.
Established in 1816 as a carriage manufacturer.
Showing in the international Exhibition of 1862 producing a light waggonette.
11 July 1868 they move from Spencer Street, Leamington to larger premises.
James Thomas Glover died in Warwick on 28 November 1879.
