Pitkin Motors Ltd was once a BMC dealer in the 1960s and later became an Opel agent on Charlotte Street, Leamington Spa, in the 1970s. In the early 1980s, they were Vauxhall main dealers.

In September 1970, a fire took hold in the ground-floor store area and then spread to the first floor, causing severe damage.
The cause of the fire was unknown.

Pitkin Motor was open roughly from 1960 to about March 1981.

In March 1982, Godfrey Davis, Europcar car hire, was advertising at Pitkin Motors.
